Quotation are invited for Design, Financing, Construction, Operation, Maintenance and Transfer of the Al Dibdibah Power and Al Shagaya Renewable Energy - Phase Ill - Zone 2 Solar PV IPP Al Dibdibah Power and Al Shagaya Renewable Energy Phase lll Zone 2 Solar Pv with the launch of the procurement for this Project, KAPP, and MEWRE aim to achieve the following objectives: Further introduce private sector practices and capital to sectors traditionally under the control of the public sector; Reduce the financial and operational burden from MEWRE; Decrease domestic reliance on fossil fuels; Reduce overall costs to the State of Kuwait for provision of power generation; Increase RE capacity within the national energy mix. The State of Kuwait through KAPP informs All international and local companies, including those listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, that the qualification process is commencing in accordance with IWPP Law 39/2010 regarding promulgating the incorporation of Kuwaiti joint stock companies to undertake the building and implementation ot power stations and water desalination plants and its Executive Regulations and PPP Law 116/2014 regulating public private partnerships and its Executive Regulations. The commencement starts from the date of this announcement publication. In accordance with the Request for Qualification ("RFQ"), companies / consortia that wish to qualify must demonstrate the following criteria by completing the Statement of Qualification forms (SQQ*). Parties interested to receive the RFQ package are requested to make a payment of (3500) KD (three thousand five hundred Kuwaiti Dinars) towards cost of the RFQ package. Payment can be made using any of the following options: 1. Online transfer via IBAN to (KW07CBKU0000000000000012012039) (payment shall be net of charges and may take around 3 (three) days for internal processing at KAPP); or 2. Submit a non-refundable certified cheque issued from a bauk licensed to operate in Kuwait, in favor of Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects; or 3.
