Project Detail |
This project aims to explore risks to occupational safety and health (OSH) in green energy sectors, and further envisage policy recommendations and actions to provide the workforce with a safe and healthy workplace. By aligning with the issues of: (1) green jobs and OSH risks to the workforce particularly in green energy industries; (2) measures to reduce OSH risks in green energy sectors (3) best practices to advance OSH for the workforce in green energy sectors, this project plans to hold a workshop in September 2024. By compiling policy recommendations based on exchanges among experts and participants in the workshop, this project expects to improve workplace safety and health management in green energy sectors, so as to create an enabling environment for energy transition and sustainable development, contributing to inclusive human resources development outlined in the Aotearoa Plan of Action. |
