IDB Invest is considering an equity investment of up to US$5 million in TB I Holdings Ltd. (“Tembici” or the “Company”), registered in Cayman Islands and headquartered in Brazil, as part of the Series C equity round.
The Client is the leading micro-mobility player in Latin America operating docked bike sharing programs in 4 countries and 13 cities throughout the region. In Brazil, the Company operates in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Riviera, Salvador, Brasilia, Recife, Olinda, Jaboatão and Porto Alegre. In Argentina it covers Buenos Aires and Nordelta. In Colombia it operates in Bogota, and in Chile, in Santiago.
Tembici has obtained several key concessions and exclusive permits to operate which provides a strong barrier of entry. Additionally, it has secured long-term (5-15 years) contracts with sponsors and advertisers, which brings recurring and predictable cash flows. The Company’s future growth plan consists in scaling within existing countries and expand to new cities, as it continues to ramp-up operations. |
