But as critical infrastructure grows in capacity and increases digital sophistication and connectivity, so too does the risk and potential disruption of cyber-attacks. Adopting comprehensive cybersecurity approaches to critical infrastructure balances risk mitigation with the benefits of fast-paced innovation in critical infrastructure sectors. This project aims to increase APEC economies’ awareness of critical infrastructure cyber risk and best practice approaches to cybersecurity for critical infrastructure, including through relevant international standards. This project will also introduce a focus on cybersecurity for supply chain risk management.
