Project Detail |
The Additional Financing (AF) will complement the project outcome (quality of and access to prevention and multidisciplinary response to domestic violence (DV) strengthened) and expand project outputs 1-3 (multi-disciplinary response and livelihood assistance services to domestic violence survivors delivered; capacity of key officials and staff responsible for protection and rehabilitation services for DV survivors improved; and behavior of key stakeholders on prevention, reporting and protection of survivors improved) by piloting an innovative integrated suite of digital components of the DV hotline center 107. The AF aims to pilot test advanced technologies through expansion of the ICT infrastructure and scale up critical interventions of an ongoing project to more effectively address DV cases.
The captioned grant financed by the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction ($3.0 million) is the first Asian Development Bank (ADB) dedicated project addressing domestic violence with infrastructure, service provision, institutional development, and behavior change communications. The ADB President approved the grant on 15 October 2018. The project is effective 1 February 2019 and will be completed on 31 December 2022. |
