The LAO / 730 project is based on the objectives, logical framework, principles, orientations and management structure of the LAO / 030 program and aims to implement the following interventions:
additional actions relating to climate change under the "community development" component;
enhanced access to social infrastructure in some of the 229 target villages;
strengthening district development planning and linkages with other local planning;
additional capacity in local planning, community development and change management;
cooperation with long-standing SDC partners, particularly in the areas of governance, agricultural development and land management.
The budget amounts to EUR 1,687,200, of which EUR 1,562,200 is managed by LuxDev via the LAO / 030 program and EUR 125,000 by the SDC. The initial duration of the project is 18 months, from November 2020 to April 2022.
The SDC will become a member of the LAO / 030 program steering committee and will be invited to participate in central and provincial coordination meetings. |
