Managing complex sensor technology for sustainability planning
The increasing rate of natural disasters, uncontrolled exploitation of resources and population growth have also given rise to a much higher volume of complex data worldwide, making targeted and long-term planning very difficult. The European Training Network’s MENELAOS_NT programme will provide research and doctoral training to young researchers to identify and manage relevant macro- and micro-scale information from remote sensors, monitor the environment and provide information crucial to policies on environmental challenges. It will also expose the researchers to the interdisciplinary nature of multimodal environment exploration systems, a training and knowledge that is valuable for drawing up effective policies on sustainability. |
