Our client’s platform will operate in 4,000 to 5,000 ft of water, offshore Louisiana in the GoM. A critical element in the build phase of any project is to design and build the program required to manage and execute maintenance to ensure a reliable and cost-effective operation. The challenge presented to Petrofac by the client was how to bring together all the various components required which form to form a cohesive maintenance system ready for loading into the client’s computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).

Petrofac were able to leverage our long industry experience and used our proprietary software BuildME™ (Build Maintenance Excellence) in the delivery of this important project. BuildME™ was specifically developed to deliver Asset Management projects and has been tried and tested over the last 10 years on numerous projects globally.
A typical approach used in the industry is to employ a variety of databases and spreadsheets which causes errors and inefficiencies. Petrofac BuildME™ is cloud based and provides a single platform to develop the load files to populate the data required and fulfill our clients CMMS maintenance requirements. This enables access and visibility of live progress to the client throughout the project and ensures ongoing automatic quality assurance checks to meet the challenges set |
