Work Detail It is developed by Andes Solar III in the La Terraza village, municipality of Cimitarra. The National Environmental License Authority (ANLA) announces that with this it has already granted the environmental license to 25 renewable projects, 18 solar and 7 wind. The National Environmental License Authority (ANLA) has announced the granting of the environmental license to the Puertos de Santander solar project of the company Andes Solar III, located in the La Terraza village, in the municipality of Cimitarra, department of Santander. In a statement, it is explained that this is a project proposed with an installed power of 200 MW and 246.06 MW of peak power, based on the installation and operation of 403,375 photovoltaic modules. It is also reported that the environmental license also includes the construction of 25 access roads and 3 small squares, "which correspond to necessary adjustments to implement the main works of the project or temporary work spaces." The ANLA assures that with this there are already “25 projects of Non-Conventional Sources of Renewable Energy with an environmental license granted by the ANLA, of which 18 are solar (4 of them in Santander) and 7 wind, which total 5,161MW of generation capacity to the national energy matrix and contribute to the proposed goal of the National Government of 6 Gigawatts.”
