Vial Agro SA was awarded the work to access the ports of Timbúes: it will cost almost $8,000 million.

The access work for heavy traffic from Provincial Route N°91 to the ports of the town of Timbúes was awarded to the company Vial Agro SA. It will require an investment of 7,920 million pesos and has an execution period of 14 months.
“The work took a while due to the context. When we started planning and working, we were talking about 2,000 million pesos; The tender was for 3,000, the offer was 70% higher and today we are talking about almost 8,000 million pesos. The reason why it has been delayed is evident,” said the Minister of Public Management of the Province, Marcos Corach.
For his part, the general administrator of the Provincial Directorate of Roads (DPV), Oscar Ceschi, explained that "there were several projects because we looked for different alternatives, until we defined this one." And he remarked: “For years, these types of works, which are important for production to go out and resources to enter the country, were not carried out.”
Specifically, the access located in the Iriondo department will be a new 6.4 kilometer route from Provincial Route N°91 towards the northeast, which will be a rigid concrete pavement road to National Route N°11, continuing with granular stabilization until port terminals.
The work includes a roundabout at the beginning of its development, that is, at the intersection of the new layout with Route 91; and another at the junction with Cacique Mangoré Street.
In addition, two bridges will be built, which will occupy close to 20% of the budget: one over the Miter railway tracks and the RN No. 11; and another on the Carcarañá River. Likewise, improvements will be included on the access slabs and abutments on the Giardino bridge, which crosses the Rosario-Santa Fe Highway at kilometer 33.
