Tenders are invited for Cooperative Strengthening (Monitoring & Evaluation / Post Harvest Management). Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will conduct a Procurement of a Project Officer for Cooperative Strengthening (Monitoring & Evaluation / Post harvest management). His main duties will be: 1. lead implementation of the processing training at washing stations, monitor/evaluate the coffee quality improvement, and organize the cooperatives to produce micro-lots. 2. support implementation of the existing demonstration plots for testing new techniques of farming, and monitor/evaluate the progress to highlight the superiority of the demo plots and disseminate the techniques to the entire cooperatives 3. support implementation of business planning and marketing, and monitor/evaluate the progress to provide feedback 4. support implementation of the Training of Trainers (TOT) activities for strengthening capacity The candidate must fulfil the following conditions: 1.) At least five years (5) of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: monitoring and evaluation, agribusiness, post-harvest management for coffee, cooperative development, coffee farming, coffee quality control, post-harvest management of coffee and coffee marketing; 2. ) Work experiences in international development organizations is a plus; 3). Solid experience in strategic planning and technical training on coffee; 4.) Strong commitment to and timely delivery of the assigned outputs; 5). An excellent knowledge of written and spoken Kinyarwanda and English; and 6). Rwandese nationality.
