Strengthening Pedagogy and Governance in Uruguayan Public Schools Project Improvement of Teacher Training and Pedagogical Content. $7.00 million This component will finance as eligible expenses: (i) contracting individual national and foreign consultants; (ii) contracting of consulting services; (iii) contracting of the Logistics necessary to carry out face-to-face or online Conferences (rooms, food, accommodation, transfers, software licenses, among others), (iv) purchase and/or production of inclusive materials and acquisitions of equipment that support successful school innovations and pedagogical initiatives, (v) contracting of communication platforms (vi) online materials and their storage 2. Strengthening of Management Teams US$ 4.00 million This component will finance as eligible expenses : (i) contracting individual national and foreign consultants; (ii) contracting of consulting services; (iii) contracting of the Logistics necessary to carry out face-to-face or online Conferences (rooms, food, accommodation, transfers, software licenses, among others. (iv) Contracting of communication platforms, (v) online materials and their storage Review of key aspects and redesign of the framework that governs the career of directors, teachers and other learning support personnel. 3. Improvement of Infrastructure and Complementary Services US$ 23.00 million This component will finance as eligible expenses (i) Studies to identify infrastructure needs (ii) Construction, refurbishment, and maintenance of infrastructure for educational centers (iii) External individual consultancies (iv) Purchase of Goods for Schools (such as furniture, crockery and kitchen implements, household appliances, semi-industrial equipment, computer/technological equipment, audio and video) (v) equipment for the psychomotricity room, (vi) purchase of materials to promote science (science kit) (vii) purchase of devices to improve environmental quality (CO2 meters, among others) (viii) Study - Systematization of design processes for educational spaces based on evidence. 4. Strengthening of Project Evaluation and Management Systems. $6.00 million. This component will finance as eligible expenses (i) contracting of individual Consultants, (ii) contracting of consulting services, (iii) contracting of the Logistics necessary to carry out face-to-face or online Conferences (rooms, food, lodging, transfers, licenses of software, .among others .) (iv) Expenses related to the operation of the Project – UEP “Deadline given here are tentative, which is one year from the date of publication, it may vary, for accuracy of deadline, please contact the Purchasing Authority.
