The Ministry Of Environment And Parks Is Seeking To Retain A Qualified Consulting Firm To Undertake Site Investigation Services At A High Risk (Hr) Contaminated Orphan Site And Adjacent Properties In Victoria, Bc.The Source Parcel And Affected Properties, Some Of Which Were Identified As High Risk In 2011, Have Impacts To Soil, Groundwater, And Soil Vapour, Including Chlorinated Volatile Organic Compounds And Petroleum Hydrocarbons.The Responsible Persons Have Not Complied With The Environmental Management Act Requirements For Site Investigation And Remediation, And The Ministry Is Now Proceeding, Under The Authority Of Section 58 Of Ema, To Conduct Site Investigation And Remediation Of The Site.The Services Requested Under This Rfp Include A Preliminary Site Investigation, Evaluation Of Existing Data, A Detailed Site Investigation Of Vapour And Groundwater, A Targeted Human Health Risk Assessment (If Warranted By The Province), And A Remedial Options Analysis To Support Future Certification Documentation.
