Purpose Of Procurementpursuant To The State Purchasing Act (Official Code Of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 Et Seq.), This Electronic Request For Proposals (Erfp) Is Being Issued To Establish A Contract With A Qualified Supplier Who Will Provide Adidas Athletic Apparel To The University Of West Georgia (The State Entity) As Further Described In This Erfp.The University Of West Georgia (Uwg) Is Seeking A Comprehensive Adidas Athletic Apparel And Equipment Purchasing Agreement That Includes A Sponsorship Component For Uwg Athletics. Over The Past Eight Years, The University Has Invested Over $1.5 Million In Athletic Apparel Through Its Partnership With Adidas And Is Interested In Extending This Relationship.The Proposed Agreement Would Cover The Full Scope Of Athletic Needs, Including Competition Uniforms And Game Apparel; Practice, Travel, And Sideline Apparel For Student-Athletes, Coaches, And Administrators; Competition And Practice Footwear; Sport-Specific Equipment Such As Basketballs, Baseball And Softball Bats, Golf Clubs, And Soccer Balls; As Well As Protective Gear And Related Accessories.Pre-Qualification Notice:To Be Eligible To Submit A Response To This Erfp, The Supplier Must Have Been Identified As A Qualified Supplier As A Result Of Rfqc No. 55400-Erfp-000001644-2026 Titled Uwg Adidas Athletic Apparel.
