Tenders are invited for Textile and Related Products - Shoes / Uniform Materials / Serviettes / Towels / Garments, Shirts, Trousers, Lab Coats) Conditions and Further Details: i. Tender Invitations will be extended to registered suppliers when calling for quotations under Shopping Procedure and Limited Competitive Bidding Procedure or other method for obtaining goods / services and contracts of the Tea Research Institute. ii. Applications given below should he submitted with a covering letter and a copy of the Business Registration Certificate. Items applying for should be clearly mentioned. Unclear / Incomplete and applications for which fees have not been paid will be removed without any intimation. Applicants may get the confirmation regarding their registration from the Procurement Unit after 01.01.2026. iii. Registration fee of Rs. 1000.00 for each sub item of main item (Example: 1A or B or C or D) should be credited to Current Account No. 03630616 maintained at the Talawakcllc Branch of Bank of Ceylon and the bank slip should be submitted attached to the application. iv. Self prepared applications inclusive of the information given below should be clearly perfected and may either he sent by a suitable / formal postal medium or hand delivered to Procurement Division to receive before 23r<^ December 2025. The caption Registration of Suppliers - 2026 should be mentioned on the left hand top corner of the envelope and should be sent addressed to Procurement Officer. Tea Research Institute of Sri Lanka, Talawakelle. Unclear applications and applications for which registration fee has not been paid will be rejected without any intimation. Tea Research Institute will not bear responsibility for any postal delays. Late applications will be rejected. v. Generally, quotations arc invited from selected registered suppliers (considering the cost). But the lea Research Institute reserves the right to call for quotations from other unregistered suppliers at times of necessity. Tea Research Institute reserves the right to select the suppliers when calling for quotations. vi. Tea Research Institute reserves the right to remove the names of any registered supplier who commits any fraud, supplies any fake items, goods of inferior quality, showing weaknesses in the delivery of goods, and having unresolved legal disputes, from the list of registered suppliers. vii. Requests of the suppliers whose previous supplies have been questionable and of the blacklisted suppliers will be rejected. If the members of such institutions are in the administration / Board of Directors of any applying institution, request of such suppliers for registration also will not he accepted.
