This construction project will make intersection improvements to Route 119 at Route 100B. Crashes in the project area are related to traffic volume/congestion along Route 119. The existing left turn lane from Route 119 to Route 100B is shared with the through movement. Possible improvements may include reconfiguring lane width and potentially eliminating on street parking along Route 119 to add a dedicated left turn lane from Route 100 to Route 100B, add pedestrian accommodations including: crosswalks, sidewalk and curb ramps, and additional intersection improvements. The project will also explore opportunities for improvements at the adjacent intersection of Route 119 at Route 100. |
