The objective of this TC is to improve the quality, coverage, accessibility, and usability of educational data in Latin America and the Caribbean. The specific objective is to integrate geospatial data and adopting an educational trajectories perspective, enabling better data utilization to inform decision-making and support the development of equitable and effective educational policies. To achieve this objective, this project will: (i) create a comprehensive repository of geospatial data and key indicators, enabling precise analysis of educational dynamics and challenges, with a focus on geographic and socioeconomic disparities; (ii) enhance the availability, integration, and utilization of higher education data, with an emphasis on analyzing educational trajectories and transitions between educational levels, supporting evidence-based policy design and targeted interventions. These efforts aim to establish CIMA as a regional leader in interactive visualization and geospatial analysis of educational data, promoting public access to information that identifies and addresses gaps and inequalities in educational trajectories. |
