The Coaldale 254S DER Solar & Wind initiative includes two major components: a 22?MW solar farm developed by Concord Green Energy and Acestes Ventures, now under construction with commissioning expected in 2024, and a hybrid wind-solar facility by Elemental Energy in partnership with McCain Foods, combining up to 35?MW of wind and 5?MW of solar to power McCain’s Coaldale Processing Plant. The hybrid project aims for completion in 2026 and will help McCain achieve 100% renewable electricity at the site. |
