This project aims to address the challenges of agricultural vocational training and boost entrepreneurship in rural areas of Agricultural Development Cluster No. 4 (including Borgou Sud, Donga, and Collines). Through an integrated approach combining training, professional integration, and entrepreneurial support, it aims to improve youth employability while contributing to Benins sustainable economic development. To achieve this, the project establishes effective governance mechanisms, facilitates access to financing, and supports sustainable entrepreneurial initiatives. It thus addresses the growing needs of the agricultural sector while strengthening the countrys resilience to climate challenges. In parallel, a second component of the project includes the creation of a climate finance unit within Benins Ministry of Economy and Finance. This structure will be tasked with facilitating the countrys access to funding for climate change adaptation projects. |
