Project Detail Project No. DESG_01_2025S Project Title Supporting SMEs to Utilise Traceability Technologies for More Sustainable Trade Project Status Project in Implementation This project seeks to encourage the adoption of ‘traceability’ by SMEs. Traceability (both the technology and system) is a means to monitor and record data about the production and movement of goods and/or their components, and to make relevant information available to stakeholders in the supply chain. Traceability can empower SME exporters by boosting their capability and confidence to meet cross-border regulations, especially those that require verifiable proof of claims, such as those relating to the environment. Traceability can also provide brands with a vehicle to engage better with customers, and thus enhance their competitiveness. This project will include the following activities: roundtable dialogue, conference, micro-learning through webinars, and gamification through exercises.
