Another flagship pipeline project of the City, this sports facility will soon rise and feature an Olympic-size swimming pool. The swimming pool, while intended as a practice venue for athletes participating in international swimming tournaments, could also be used to hold local competitions, recreational classes, and other aquatics events. The City Aquatic Sports Center will have multi-level bleachers that can accommodate about 1,500 people. It will also serve as a multi-purpose building with fully-furnished, air-conditioned VIP lounge and function rooms for public events. The project scope includes undertaking the operation, management, and maintenance of this sports center, as well as the assets within it, and all necessary development works, such as rehabilitation, improvement, and modernization, needed to meet the projected demand for an aquatic sports facility within the lease period. |
