A four (4)-lane, 35.70 km extension of Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX) Phase I, Tarlac to Cabanatuan City, which will connect from Cabanatuan City to San Jose City. The project will pass through the municipalities of Talavera and Llanera in Nueva Ecija and will provide a free-flowing alternative route decongesting traffic along the Pan Philippine Highway (PPH) between said cities of Nueva Ecija and Tarlac Province. It also includes the construction of the Toll Facilities of CLLEX Phase I. Project Objectives To provide the following: 1. fast, safe, comfortable, and reliable means of transportation from Metro Manila to various destination in the Central Luzon area for socio-economic development, thus contributing to the decongestion of over-concentrated Metro Manila. 2. A highway of International standards with a number of intersections. 3. To form an important lateral (east-west) link of overall Expressway networks of Region III. 4. Reduce travel time cost and vehicle operating cost of users. 5.Linkage between the existing Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and PPH at some latitude above cities of Cabanatuan and San Jose. |
