Establish a second-level community organization2, composed of people from 12 fishing communities in the state of Yucatán, with the priority objective of promoting a joint agenda focused on the conservation of marine biodiversity, through the development and strengthening of at least three ZRPs. This effort will be guided by the facilitation of a collaborative process between people from the communities, the exchange of successful experiences and the promotion of conservation and sustainable governance strategies. Our mission is to consolidate a solid second-level organization that promotes social connectivity and the active participation of fishing communities, in order to ensure the integral preservation of marine biodiversity in the ZRPs and their surroundings.
