Project Name Recycling of palm and agricultural waste to preserve local and global environment in Itsa villages.
Project Detail o improve environmental and economic standards by benefiting from recycling of palm and agricultural waste and produce animal fodder and organic fertilizer (compost) in the targeted villages of the Etsa Center. project expected results: Improving the environmental and economic conditions for farmers and their families through the recycling of palm waste and agricultural residues in the targeted villages of the Etsa center. Raising awareness among 1500 farmers and their families about recycling agricultural residues as unconventional animal feed. Educating 1000 farmers and their families on recycling palm waste into artificial organic fertilizer (compost) in the targeted villages. Empowering farmers to purchase the targeted quantity of 170 tons of artificial organic fertilizer made from palm waste through a revolving loan system. Empowering farmers to purchase the targeted quantity of 200 tons of unconventional animal feed through a revolving loan system. Enhancing environmentalstandards by training farmers and their families in the targeted villages on palm waste recycling. Increasing environmental consciousness among farmers and their families in the targeted villages regarding the secure disposal of palm waste and trees using eco-friendly methods to preserve the local and global environment. Creating opportunities for farmers and their families in the targeted villages to participate in project execution and enhance their skills. Establishing qualified and trained personnel in the targeted villages to educate about the significance of palm waste recycling. Equipping the project workforce with efficient project management skills. Raising farmers awareness about the importance of recycling agricultural residues and palm waste as animal feed. Raising awareness among farmers and their families about the use of artificial organic fertilizer (compost). Establishing a model of partnership between various sectors of the community in Faiyum Governorate, aiming to address local issues with a global perspective focused on preserving the local and global environment. Training a team of youth knowledgeable about recycling agricultural residues and palm waste as animal feed or artificial organic fertilizer (compost). Developing executive leadership awareness regarding the significance of farmers and their families benefiting from recycling palm waste and agricultural residues. Promoting educational concepts for sustainable development and climate change adaptation to ensure decent living conditions for farmers and their families, including women and youtth.
