The general objective is to promote the sustainability of the provision of water and sanitation services in the municipality of Cuenca, under a climate action and natural capital protection approach. The specific objectives are: (i) improve the resilience and reliability of the drinking water system in Cuenca, and contribute to the conservation of water sources; (ii) increase the coverage of drinking water and sewerage in rural areas of Cuenca; (iii) improve the efficiency and capacity of treatment and disposal of wastewater from the Ucubamba-Guangarcucho system; and (iv) improve the management of services provided by ETAPA EP, incorporating a focus on gender, diversity and climate change. |
