The objective of technical cooperation (TC) is to support the preparation of the program Support for the Development of Agricultural Public Services in Ecuador (EC-L1303), which will be co-executed by INIAP and AGROCALIDAD, hereinafter referred to as the Program, and has been agreed upon with the Government of Ecuador through the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). The program aims to support the development of Ecuadors agricultural public services to improve the sectors competitiveness and agricultural exports. The TC will support the completion of studies (diagnostics and evaluations), action plans, training, and consultancies that will help define priority investments and create the necessary capacities for the monitoring and evaluation of the main results of the Program, as well as the preparation of the annexes required for the loan document. Additionally, it will finance actions to launch the implementation of the loan operation with both institutions. |
