The cooperative is made up of 134 producers who produce and market organic coffee. It has experience gradually acquiring machinery to carry out the entire coffee processing process, thus increasing its market value. This project has a solid justification, as the acquisition of a coffee drying machine will help them improve the quality of the final product. It will also reduce production times; currently, production is done manually (with solar dryers), which takes approximately 10 days. It is considered a project with a relevant socioeconomic component and an intrinsic environmental component, as the coffee is managed organically and the crops are diversified, creating agroforestry systems.
