Intersection work will occur at the intersections of South Platte Canyon Road and West Bowles Avenue (Mile Point 5.3) and South Platte Canyon Road and West Mineral Avenue (MP 7.4).The first phase of the intersection project will happen over a two-month period at the intersection of South Platte Canyon Road and West Mineral Avenue. The work will include: enhancing pedestrian and bicycle safety resolving traffic conflicts improving bus stop access upgrading signal equipment The design incorporates various improvements to the following: accessible pedestrian ramps pedestrian and bicycle crossings expanded turning lanes bus stop enhancements upgraded signal equipment By mid-May, crews will move operations to the next intersection at South Platte Canyon Road and West Bowles Avenue. |
