Project No. HRDWG_03_2025S Project Title The APEC Future Education Consortium (AFEC) 2025 Project Status Project in Implementation To foster a more prosperous and sustainable future for all people within APEC, the Korean Ministry of Education has hosted the APEC Future Education Consortium (AFEC) annually. AFEC serves as a platform for diverse stakeholders to discuss and share best practices on key education policies, visions, and cooperation initiatives. This project comprises three main events:- 1) APEC Future Education Forum (AFEF) 2) International ALCoB Conference (AC) 3) APEC Future Education Consortium Steering Committee (SC) Meeting In 2025, the 20th AFEF will be held on May 6 in Jeju, Korea, under the theme Inclusive and Sustainable Future Education through Connection and Innovation. This policy dialogue will promote more inclusive and sustainable future education within APEC. Following AFEF, the 21st SC meeting will take place onsite, while the 22nd AC will be conducted online in November. These events will bring together government officials, entrepreneurs, educators, and experts from various fields to foster meaningful discussions and collaboration.
