Project Name Improving the Readiness and Implementation of Safeguards in ADB-Financed Projects Project Number 58540-001 Country / Economy Regional Project Status Active The technical assistance (TA) will provide safeguards implementation and capacity building support to ongoing and future sovereign operations within developing member countries (DMCs) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in all its regions, including Central and West Asia, East Asia, Pacific, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The TA will provide support to executing agencies (EAs), implementing agencies (IAs), and regulating agencies (RAs) in building their capacity to meet the safeguards policy requirements of ADB as defined in ADBs Safeguard Policy Statement (SPS) 2009 and the new Environmental and Social Framework (ESF), which will become effective in January 2026. |
