The MIRECAM project in Mauritania aims to strengthen access for refugees and host communities to basic social services (health, education, water supply) and socio-economic opportunities (employment, training). The project has several components. Enabel is positioned on one of them, not on humanitarian objectives, but on strengthening the local socio-economic context, namely the host and refugee populations of Hodh el Chargui, particularly in response to priority needs in the agriculture and livestock sectors. |
