The general objective of this TC is to provide support to the transportation sector in Brazil, assisting both the Federal Government and subnational entities in initiatives and projects that promote safe, sustainable, resilient and inclusive transportation and logistics infrastructure and services, as well as the incorporation of innovative solutions that support the digital transformation of the sector in the country. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) to provide comprehensive technical assistance for the planning, design and implementation of projects, including specialized studies, prefeasibility, technical, economic and environmental assessment, and social management plans, among others; and (ii) to support institutional strengthening and provide technical assistance to improve the sustainability and resilience of transport infrastructure and services, as well as to promote innovation, gender equality and inclusion in the sector. |
