The EMTHR is included in a program launched by the Beninese government to build eight benchmark vocational schools across the country in order to address the gap between training and the job market in Benin, in accordance with the new National Strategy for Technical and Vocational Education and Training adopted in 2019. The funding has the specific objective of improving the employability and socio-professional integration of young men and women as well as disabled people who graduated from EMTHR through decent jobs, while developing specialties and opportunities related to ecological and cultural tourism. The EMTHR program is developed and implemented by LuxDev through delegations to national institutions for the implementation of the programs actions, the main one being the Technical Education Development Agency, which will be responsible for the construction of the school, through project management delegated to the Agency for the construction of education sector infrastructure. |
