The project includes the new construction, reconstruction, extension and renovation of colleges (i.e. lower secondary schools) and other cultural and educational infrastructure under the responsibility of the Department of La Réunion in France. Objectives
The main objective of the project is to modernize and improve the infrastructure of colleges (i.e. lower secondary schools) in the Department of La Réunion, in order to provide good quality education and support the adaptation of its network of colleges to changes in local demand. The project also aims to strengthen the resilience of school infrastructure to the risks of climate change. The project will also support the improvement of accessibility for disabled students in the establishments of the Department. Finally, the project will improve the infrastructure of three cultural sites, essential for the smooth running of cultural education programming offered to college students.
