SHORT DESCRIPTION:
project goal
In its three-year educational program, the AAI Salzburg not only offers information and critical reflection on the background of global developments, but also makes it possible to raise awareness of ones own behavioral patterns and to deal with structural causes. Four main focuses are gender equality, equity and prosperity, environmental and climate justice and distributive justice.
expected results
Twenty to twenty-five events with around 600 participants will be held every year for the four main topics. Outside the thematic focus, 15 educational and cultural events are held every year to promote the dialogue between cultures and religions, as well as the developmental exchange between North and South, with about 1,300 participants. Diverse forms of events are chosen to best reach the various target groups. These include workshops that enable intensive discussion over a longer period of time, which is attended by about 60 multipliers. The educational topics are also made accessible to those interested in online media. These media include the AAI website, the AAI Facebook page with 1260 likes, the AAI blog, as well as the AAI newsletter with 1000 subscribers. Low-threshold access offer formats such as the "World Dinner", "Consumption-critical walk" or the "Salzburg Compass for a better world", with a circulation of 10,000 pieces. The AAI Salzburg complements its activities each year with an action in public space, at the Citizens of the city are encouraged to tackle current issues. |
