Work Detail The Danish Energy Appeals Board has rejected appeals against construction permits for the Jammerland Bugt and Lillebælt Syd offshore wind farms, developed jointly by TotalEnergies, European Energy and Sonfor. The ruling clears the way for both projects to proceed as planned. The wind farms have been developed through a regulated environmental and planning process in coordination with Danish authorities and relevant stakeholders. Both sites are located outside Natura 2000 and internationally designated bird protection areas. Environmental impact assessments for the projects have been approved by the Danish Energy Agency. The projects form part of Denmark’s open-door scheme and are expected to supply electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of up to 400,000 Danish households. Both wind farms are scheduled to be operational in 2029.
