Work Detail A signing ceremony was held in Hanoi for the cooperation agreement (2025–2030) between the Vietnam National Coal—Mineral Industries Holding Group (TKV) and the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG).The previous cooperation agreement between HUMG and TKV (2019–2024), signed on December 6, 2019, was based on the development orientation and human resource needs of both parties. After five years of implementation, the agreement has yielded significant results. Specifically, TKV received 979 HUMG students for internships and field visits; 808 students have been recruited to work at TKV’s affiliated units. TKV and its subsidiaries also implemented scholarship and financial support programs for students with a total value of 960 million VND. In 2025, TKV plans to continue supporting 30 scholarships worth 360 million VND. HUMG has trained more than 800 masters degree holders and 8 PhDs for the TKV staff. Furthermore, HUMG and TKV have jointly organized 31 training courses for TKV’s officers, engineers, and workers; led 8 scientific research projects at the group level with a total value exceeding 17 billion VND; and carried out 106 tasks, including research projects, consultancy, technology transfer, and productivity improvement solutions. The two sides have also co-organized many important scientific conferences and seminars. At the ceremony, representatives from TKV and HUMG signed the new cooperation agreement for the 2025–2030. Under this agreement, both parties will strengthen collaboration in education and human resource development, scientific research, technology application and transfer; expand internship and recruitment opportunities, and continue developing scholarship programs for students. Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Members’ Council of TKV, and Professor Dr. Tran Thanh Hai – Rector of HUMG, expressed their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation, strengthening the relationship, and improving the effectiveness of collaboration between the two parties. In their remarks at the signing ceremony, Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan and Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Hai reaffirmed the importance of enhanced coordination and cooperation, especially in education, human resource training, and scientific and technological research.
