Google has signed a new power purchase agreement (PPA) that will extend the operational life of the NoordzeeWind offshore wind farm in the Netherlands by at least four years beyond its original decommissioning date. Under the agreement, Google will purchase 100% of the wind farm’s 108MW capacity. This commitment has enabled Shell, which operates the site, to seek permit extensions and invest in necessary upgrades.As of May 2025. Actual generation capacity may vary from the signed amounts based on changes during construction or project terminations. |
