Work Detail Solargik has announced the official debut of its AI-based SOma Pro platform for solar tracking and system diagnostics. The company claims one of its key benefits is its ability to support smarter, faster decision-making. Israeli startup Solargik launches Soma Pro, a platform that uses artificial intelligence for smart monitoring, diagnostics, and control of solar systems. The company said the platform is a fully integrated hardware and software system, offering real-time visibility and complete remote control. The key innovation is Soma Pros native tracker design, meaning its specifically designed to integrate with solar trackers. Built into Solargiks proprietary tracking hardware, Soma Pro collects real-time data from trackers, sensors, power meters, inverter systems, and other plant devices. According to Solargik, Soma Pro eliminates data fragmentation, improves operational efficiency, and enables precise system control, even in complex terrain, compared to traditional third-party SCADA systems. With energy performance monitoring and granular loss analysis, youll be able to respond in real time and make smarter decisions, faster. Youll have the clarity you need to act decisively, optimize performance, and anticipate problems—all from a single platform, says Solargik. The core of the system is a proprietary, AI-based performance model that identifies the specific energy losses of each tracker or component. According to the company, the system achieves detection accuracy of over 95% and allows operators to recover up to 6% of the energy that would otherwise be lost. The platform also helps with maintenance planning and improves collaboration with EPC contractors to protect long-term asset value. No more digging through spreadsheets or managing disconnected data sources, says Solargik. Soma Pro goes beyond simple monitoring, as it continuously learns from real-world operating conditions and optimizes tracker positioning based on dynamic parameters such as irradiance, cloud cover, wind speed, and site topography. Through a cloud-based interface, operators can monitor tracker pitch, stowage modes, and production status—both site-wide and at the device level—enabling rapid response to changing conditions and maximizing energy efficiency. “With Soma Pro, we’ve redefined the way solar installations are managed, especially in environments where traditional systems fall short,” Gil Kroyzer, CEO of Solargik, told pv magazine . “By combining our lightweight tracker technology with a proprietary intelligent control system, we offer a level of adaptability, insight, and flexibility that helps operators extract more value from each site.” The platform has already been tested in operational solar projects. According to Kroyzer, these initial installations were key to perfecting the systems performance. We trained Soma Pros machine learning models with real-world data from the site, he said. That gave us a foundation for accurate diagnostics, responsive control, and better overall alignment with the types of conditions operators deal with in the field. As competition for flat, ready-to-build land intensifies, developers are increasingly turning to sites with physical constraints, such as sloping land and dual-use agricultural land. “Land scarcity forces projects to be carried out on more complex sites,” Kroyzer notes. “This includes extreme slopes or agrivoltaic installations where trackers must be integrated without disrupting the agriculture. Soma Pro was built with these scenarios in mind, combining adaptable hardware and intelligent control to maintain performance where conventional systems fall short.”
