| Work Detail | The project expands Suzlon’s partnership with NTPC to a total of 1.54GW. Wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon has secured a new 378MW wind energy project from Indian clean energy company NTPC Green Energy (NGEL). The project expands Suzlon’s partnership with NTPC to a total of 1.54GW and marks the second major order from NGEL within eight months. The wind energy project will be executed in Karnataka’s Gadag region in India. Suzlon Group CEO JP Chalasani said: “Securing major and high-quality projects in the PSU [public sector undertaking] sector is a key part of our growth strategy, and our order with NGEL highlights the success of this approach. “It shows our ability to deliver reliable solutions while supporting India’s clean energy goals. This partnership strengthens our role as a trusted partner in India’s renewable energy journey.” The contract entails Suzlon supplying 120 of its S144 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 3.15MW and featuring hybrid lattice towers. |
