SOFEC is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an EPC project for the supply of a replacement CALM Buoy and PLEM system in Thailand for an undisclosed client. The project owners operate some of the most advanced and complex refineries in the Asia-Pacific region. SOFEC’s President and CEO, Arun Duggal says: “SOFEC is excited to support our clients with this opportunity utilizing SOFEC’s proven CALM Buoy design and are grateful for trusting SOFEC with providing a state-of-the-art system with highspecification equipment that will support their critical operations for the next 30 years.” The CALM Buoy will be moored in a water depth of 26 meters, designed to berth tankers up to 320,000 DWT and support the import of up to 60,000 barrels per hour of crude oil and condensate. |
