The Municipality of Paraná took a key step in enhancing the value of the Urquiza Park Rose Garden with the opening of bids for improvement works. The project includes a comprehensive renovation of a section of the park, located between Martiniano Leguizamón and Bartolomé Mitre streets, and seeks to restore the splendor of this iconic space for residents and tourists. Planned work includes the construction of new concrete sidewalks, which will improve accessibility and pedestrian navigation, the restoration of the original paving to preserve the sites historic identity, and the repair of existing deteriorating sidewalks. These improvements will allow for safer and more comfortable circulation throughout the Rose Garden perimeter. The Planning and Infrastructure Secretariat emphasized the importance of this project in restoring a key sector of Urquiza Park. The work is expected to be completed within approximately two months from the start, ensuring rapid and efficient execution. Four construction companies participated in the bidding process and submitted their respective bids: Indag Constructora Chem Sands of Paraná GC Engineering The contract award will be determined in the coming days, following an evaluation of the proposals. Once the winning company is selected, work is expected to begin shortly to fully enhance this traditional green space in the city. |
