Work Detail $1.9 billion is being spent for Hanoi’s three new bridges. Hanoi in Vietnam will benefit from three new bridges costing a total of $1.936 billion. The three bridges will span the Red River, boosting transport and cutting congestion in the city. Construction for the three bridges should be complete by 2030 if the current schedule is adhered to. The bridge projects form part of Vietnams wider plan to boost transportation. Building the Ngoc Hoi Bridge is expected to cost $478 million. The bridge and the connecting roads will total 7.5km in length and completion of the work is due by 2030. Construction for the Tu Lien Bridge and the connecting roads will cost $814 million. This bridge and its connecting roads will extend 5.15km in total, linking Tay Ho district with Long Bien district and Dong Anh district and the work is due for completion in late 2027. The project is being carried out under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) model. Building the Tran Hung Dao bridge will cost $644 million and connect Hoan Kiem district with Long Bien district. The bridge will extend for 5.6km and feature three lanes in either direction, while completion is also due in late 2027.
