Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura (ADIF) opened the envelopes for the bidding process for the installation of perimeter fences in various sections of the Roca line. The work aims to improve railway safety by delimiting the operational area and closing missing sections in the Avellaneda-La Plata, Temperley-Villa Elisa, Ezeiza-Vicente Casares and Vicente Casares-Cañuelas sectors. Nine bids were submitted by companies interested in carrying out the project: José Cartellone Construcciones Civiles, the UTE Herso-Zonis-Concret Nor-Ferromel, Vial Agro, Smith Molina, the UTE Pose-C&E Construcciones, Induvia, Copimex, Coingsa and the UTE Frontera-Merco Vial-Sabavisa. ADIF is currently analysing the proposals in order to move forward with the award to the most suitable bid. The works include preparing the ground and installing “New Jersey” type perimeter fences, made up of prefabricated concrete blocks that will reinforce security in the operational area of ??the tracks. In addition, the installation of metal gates at different strategic points is planned to facilitate controlled access. The work must be carried out without affecting the operation of railway services, guaranteeing the continuity of railway traffic while the works are being carried out. This initiative seeks to optimise railway infrastructure and improve safety on the Roca line, benefiting both passengers and railway system workers. |
