Mikros Systems of Princeton, N.J., has won a $48 million contract to provide the Navy with devices that can provide adaptive diagnostics of sensors. Known as Adaptive Diagnostic Electronic Portable Test Distance Support Sensor Suite units, the devices are hardware and software that monitor combat system sensors points and upload the data to the shipboard network. Mikros will provide the devices, spare parts and engineering services. The contract was awarded without competition as part of a Small Business Innovation Research program. It runs through September 2021. |
