The Enel X Electrostation has 11 charging points with free public access for individuals, fleets and service vehicles, available 24 hours a day. The Las Condes Electrostation in Santiago de Chile (Chile) is the first charging center for electric vehicles located in a 100% public space, and allows charging for private vehicles, passenger fleets, last mile, delivery, courier, emergency vehicles, communal shuttle buses and even garbage collection trucks, among others. The strategic alliance between Enel X and the Municipality of Las Condes allows for the creation of this universal charging center, “unique of its kind in Latin America,” according to its promoters, which offers approved connectors for all the adaptations that exist in Chile in terms of electromobility. The new charging centre, which is already operational and operates 24 hours a day all year round, has five double fast chargers and one double socket slow charger, totalling 614 KW, powered by a 1000 kVA transformer, dedicated exclusively to this service, to which Enel supplies 100% clean and renewable energy. Its space was designed to serve 10 vehicles simultaneously. Operation: The power station operates without interruption 365 days a year. However, there are different schedules related to the half-yearly period in which the peak hour rate charges operate. |
