Work Detail This is a tool that will improve the levels of transparency and data collection of a project throughout the entire construction process, from planning to use. In order to have access to information on public works throughout the country, the Neuquén government launched the Unified Registration and Information System (SURI) that will allow for the availability in one place of all data related to roads, housing, bridges, water supply works, energy generation and transportation, and construction of public buildings, among others. SURI is part of the non-conventional infrastructure plan Edificamos Neuquén, whose presentation took place in the auditorium of the Government House, with the participation of Governor Rolando Figueroa, his cabinet and mayors. The Minister of Infrastructure, Rubén Etcheverry, explained that SURI was created “in response to the need to have access to information on the project in one place.” SURI is made up of several information modules, including the “works module”, with information on each project, certifications and progress; “dashboards and indicators”, where information is analyzed by generating statistical graphs and reports using data science techniques; needs, where information on projects, desires and needs for works is recorded; and “uses”, where public establishments are georeferenced, with information on their uses and hours occupied in each of the works. “SURI is not just a detail of works, as it works on modules that help the management of the ministry, such as the ticket module, local anniversaries, organizational chart, etc.,” explained Etcheverry. "We are also part of the Neuquén Integrability Ecosystem, working on the efficiency and transparency of information, which is managed by OPTIC, which is dependent on the Planning Secretariat and the Cabinet Office." In this same vein, he stressed that "with Copade we work a lot on fundamental, transversal and articulation points such as regionalization." The official assured that they will continue working on improvements and updates to SURI, “which is a system in constant evolution,” emphasizing that “one of the objectives is to record all the information on the work, from the beginning with the bidding document, through the work, certification by system, redeterminations and end of the same.”
