Expansion will enhance MWS’ global wind installation and maintenance service business Danish company Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) has acquired a controlling interest in Endiprev, to create a global frontrunner provider of wind installation and maintenance services. Endiprev, headquartered in Portugal, carries out commissioning and MV/HV electrical work, with a presence in the UK, the US and Europe, particularly France. The company will continue to operate under its existing brand, with the aim of gradually unifying the two companies over time. The current executive management team, including CEO Andre Ribeiro and COO Andre Pereira, will remain in place and retain ownership stakes. MWS has expanded over the past seven years as an independent division within the German-based Muehlhan Group. It offers a range of services, including installation, offshore pre-assembly, blade repair work, scheduled service, as well as large-scale upgrade and repair campaigns. Muehlhan Wind Services primary markets include Northern Europe, the UK, North America and Australia. Over the past 18 months, MWS has acquired several companies, including TRG Wind, ROS, 3WIS, EPIK Energy, Professional Wind Service (PWS), Energy Wind & Renewables (EWR), and now Endiprev.
