Voltalia, an internationally recognized player in renewable energies, has announced the signing of a significant maintenance contract for a leading European renewable energy firm. Under the agreement, Voltalia will oversee maintenance services for a facility located in Lajes, Rio Grande do Norte, boasting a capacity of 266 megawatts. Leveraging its extensive presence in Rio Grande do Norte and neighboring states like Bahia, Voltalia aims to provide efficient and reliable assistance.
The newly inked contract encompasses predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance services, with provisions for rapid on-call assistance within two hours, module cleaning, waste management, warehouse and spare parts management, as well as comprehensive documentation and control measures. Voltalia has also established predefined parameters for specific services, including the supply of spare parts and main equipment, vegetation cutting, and annual substation maintenance, among others.
Sébastien Clerc, CEO of Voltalia, expressed enthusiasm regarding the partnership, highlighting the trust placed by the client in Voltalia’s skilled technicians and engineers. Clerc noted, “With this additional contract, Voltalia will operate and maintain a total of over 900 megawatts for this same client.”
Presently, Voltalia oversees the operation and maintenance of 5.0 gigawatts worldwide for third-party clients, in addition to managing 2.4 gigawatts for its own account. This latest endeavor reinforces Voltalia’s commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance services in the renewable energy sector, further solidifying its position as a key player in the global renewable energy landscape. |
