Work Detail According to data from the Management Company of the Wholesale Electricity Market Sociedad Anónima (Cammesa), during that month the installed capacity of solar-based energy reached 1,454.5 MW of enabled power, 3.33% of the total. The Administrative Company of the Wholesale Electricity Market Sociedad Anónima (Cammesa) has published the Variable Renewable Generation Report corresponding to March of this year, among whose data it can be highlighted that the photovoltaic power has reached 1,454.5 MW this month, from the authorization commercial received by the company 360Energy for the 20 MW La Rioja II plant in the province of the same name. The entry of 8 MW of solar energy is expected between this month and next, corresponding to the 7.20 MW Victorica plant in La Pampa (already in testing), and the 1.5 MW Algarrobo plant in Caucete, San Juan, belonging to the RenovaAr 3 program scheme. Among others, Cammesa data show that renewables covered 16.4% during the aforementioned period, with a participation in the supply of demand in March that of solar was 2.8%, wind, for its part , reached 11.5%. It is worth highlighting that there are 54 solar parks in commercial operation in the country, with 4,341,461 panels installed, of which 99.39% are single-axis, 0.57% fixed and 0.04% mixed. It is an interesting fact, also, that the report describes the brands of those panels. In that sense, it is stated that of the total number of parks mentioned above, 31% are Jinko; 18%, Trina; 8%, Canadian; 6%, Luxen, Talesun and Longi; 4/, Atersa, GCL, Jetion and Hanwha Q Cells; and finally 2% are Risen, Yingli, LV Energy and BYDNP. A similar deployment is also presented with respect to the inverters installed in solar installations. Although a total number of these devices is not offered, it does note that 44% are central and 56% are string. As for the brands, the percentages of each one are these: 40% correspond to Huawei; 13%, SMA; 10%, Schneider; 8%, Sungrow and Power Electronics; 6%, Kehua, GPTech and Goowe; and, finally, 2% of Green Power. Other data that Cammesa offers is the renewable installed power. In total, Argentina has 16,782 renewable MW, with enormous preponderance of large hydroelectric plants, with 10,835 MW (64.5%); followed by wind, 3,706 MW (22%); photovoltaic, 1,462 MW (8.7%); hydroelectric plants of less than 50 MW, 502 MW (2.9%); and bioenergy, 277 MW (1.6%). If large hydroelectric plants are disaggregated, the participation of photovoltaics in renewables becomes 24%. In total, Argentinas installed power as of last March is 43,874 MW, which means that the participation of solar energy sources in this case covers 3.33%.
